Welcome, here I want to show you everything I am capable of making with some sewing machines. 2012 is when I learned how to sew. I purchased my first sewing machine for $80 and made my first cosplay. I dressed up as Rogue from the 90s cartoon. Because I didn’t know how to make a bodysuit, I purchased a full bodysuit from Party City and some yellow fabric. I cut out the parts that needed yellow and attached them. I even sewed a zipper on for my first project!
It wasn’t pretty to a trained seamstress's eye, but it unlocked something for me. That I can make anything I want. I made a few more cosplays, and then life got busy. I continued to sew, but I make smaller items like scrub caps or scrunchies. Or anything I decided to make. But then, when my daughter got into figure skating, I figured I would make her dresses. It felt intimidating, but simultaneously it was going to save us money. Plus, it gave her the opportunity to have any kind of dress she could dream of.
This opened up another world for me. I made more dresses, and more people loved seeing them. My daughter would walk through the competition in her cowgirl dress, and I watched as people stopped to look at her, or they had their kids look at her dress. Then other parents were interested in me making dresses. From there, I decided to grow this into something.
But I can’t only focus on figure skating dresses. I want to branch out and explore other things! Someone became interested in fantasy dress, and people fell in love with my designs. My first commission figure skating dress was from a dress that was my design! Now, here we are. I made my business legitimate, and I have a website to promote my business.
Here you will find things I am capable of. Examples or previous works. An Ecommerce store will come one day, but for right now, I am sticking to local and eventually adding a dress rental option. Once I build up enough stock of things I make. For right now, I am accepting commissions local to the area, and there is a lot I am able to do to provide my customers with the greatest dresses.
